QuestionsSleep
A weekly sleep review from your Apple Watch, in one prompt
The Health app shows one night at a time. This prompt lines up the last seven so the odd night out is obvious, and asks what made it different.
Reviewed
Using the telo connector, show me my last seven nights: time asleep, deep sleep, time awake, and what time I went to bed. Point out the night that stands apart from the other six and say what made it different.
telo read sleep, 7 nights
Thursday stands apart at 10.4 hours asleep, against 6.8 to 7.4 on the other six nights. Two apps wrote sleep that night, so check its sources before reading it as a long night.
Example records, not yours. Your answer reads your own history.
What it reads
- The last seven sleep sessions, with time asleep, deep sleep and time awake
- When each night started
Where the answer can go wrong
Sleep stages are an estimate from motion and heart rate, not a sleep lab measurement, and they need an Apple Watch on watchOS 9 or later. If more than one app writes sleep to Apple Health, a night can look longer than in the Sleep app. When a total seems too high, check which apps write sleep in the Health settings.
Can I do this without telo?
You can export Apple Health from the Health app and upload part of it, but an export is a snapshot of one day, and the full XML is usually too large for a chat to read whole. The prompt still works as a checklist of what to look at. telo keeps the history synced so the assistant reads it directly.
