About telo and these terms

These terms apply to the telo.health website, the telo iPhone app and the telo MCP connector, provided under the Telo name. Read them before using the service. If you do not agree, do not use telo. These terms do not replace any separate consent required to process health data.

Your account and permissions

Use an account and email address you are authorized to access. Keep sign-in codes and device credentials private. Only connect health records that are your own or that you are legally authorized to manage. You must have legal capacity to agree to these terms or the authorization of your legal representative where required.

Using the service requires a compatible iPhone, Apple Health permissions, internet access and a telo account. Account availability may be limited during testing or a waitlist period.

What the service does

telo syncs permitted health records from your iPhone to its servers and makes them available to assistants you authorize. Available metrics and date ranges depend on source records, permissions and completed syncs. Queries do not change your Apple Health records; telo records query access metadata in your account history.

telo is a tool for exploring information, not a medical service or emergency monitoring system. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment or replace a qualified healthcare professional. Do not rely on telo or AI-generated answers for emergencies or medical decisions.

Data and connected assistants

You retain your rights in your data. You authorize telo to process the records you choose to sync only as needed to provide the service and for the purposes explained in the Privacy policy at https://telo.health/privacy. Health information is sensitive; review your permissions before syncing or connecting an assistant.

When you authorize a third-party assistant, query results are shared with that provider. Its own terms, privacy policy and account settings apply to its processing. AI answers may be inaccurate or incomplete; check dates, units and source records before relying on a summary. telo is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple or OpenAI.

Acceptable use

Do not access another person’s account without authorization, bypass access controls, disclose credentials, upload unlawful content, or interfere with service security or availability. Do not use telo to make unauthorized decisions about other people based on their health information. These rules do not restrict rights granted by applicable law.

Availability and payments

Features may change and synchronization or access may be interrupted by maintenance, faults or third-party services. telo is not a replacement for your original health records or backups.

These terms do not authorize a payment or create a subscription. Any future paid offering must disclose its price and payment conditions separately before you agree to purchase it. Third-party services may have their own charges.

Ending use and account restrictions

You may stop using telo at any time. Disable Apple Health permissions to stop new reads, and remove an assistant connection to stop its queries. Stopping use does not automatically delete previously synced data or copies received by third parties; see the Privacy policy for deletion information.

Access may be restricted when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks or legal obligations. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the restriction and provide an opportunity to resolve it. Restrictions do not remove your applicable data protection or consumer rights.

Responsibility and your rights

Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory warranties, remedies or liability under applicable law, including consumer and data protection law. There is no waiver of your right to seek assistance from competent authorities or courts. Responsibility for any loss is determined under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

Updates will be published on this page with a new revision date. Material changes will be communicated through the service or an available account contact before they take effect where required by law. Changes do not retroactively remove rights you have already acquired.
