What your Apple Health data says about you: ten things to ask AI

Using the telo connector, look across my whole history and tell me ten things about me that I probably don't know. Prefer patterns over averages, skip anything I could read off a single day, and say which numbers each one came from.

telo read 31 metrics, 6 years

Here are four of the ten. The last one rests on three trips, so treat it as a lead, not a fact.

  • Sleep runs 34 minutes longer from November to February than from May to August.Sleep, 6 winters
  • Resting heart rate sits 3 bpm lower in weeks with three or more workouts.Resting heart rate and workouts, 6 years
  • Steps drop by a third on Sundays, in every one of the six years.Steps, 6 years
  • Heart rate variability is higher on the Monday after a flight.HRV, 3 trips

Only 3 cases. Check it before you believe it.

Example records, not yours. Your answer reads your own history.

What it reads

  • Every daily metric with records, such as steps, resting heart rate and heart rate variability
  • Sleep sessions, with time asleep and stages
  • Workouts, with type, duration and date

Where the answer can go wrong

Searching dozens of metrics for patterns will always find some, and a few will be coincidence. That is why the prompt asks for the numbers behind each fact. Pick the one that surprises you most and ask for the months it is based on before you believe it.

Can I do this without telo?

You can export Apple Health from the Health app and upload part of it, but an export is a snapshot of one day, and the full XML is usually too large for a chat to read whole. The prompt still works as a checklist of what to look at. telo keeps the history synced so the assistant reads it directly.
