Using the telo connector, chart my VO2 max by month for as far back as it goes and tell me where it peaked, where it bottomed out, and where it sits today against both. No interpretation, just the shape and the numbers.

telo read VO2 max, 18 months

VO2 max peaked at 44.6 in July 2026 and bottomed out at 41.0 in May 2025. Today it sits at 43.9. November to January has no estimate, so that stretch is a gap, not a drop.

What it reads

  • Every VO2 max estimate in Apple Health, grouped by month

Where the answer can go wrong

Apple Watch only estimates VO2 max during outdoor walks, runs and hikes with enough effort. A month without them has no estimate, which is a gap and not a drop. Indoor training, cycling and strength work never produce one, so a fitter year can look flat if it was spent indoors.

Can I do this without telo?

You can export Apple Health from the Health app and upload part of it, but an export is a snapshot of one day, and the full XML is usually too large for a chat to read whole. The prompt still works as a checklist of what to look at. telo keeps the history synced so the assistant reads it directly.
